The meeting started at 17:10 in 3B room (DEI building in Milano Leonardo).
In the meeting there were me, i3Poli chair, Stefano Facchinetti, i3Poli vice chair and Nicola Vitucci.

The roadmap was:

Making groups not yet formed for IEEE 125th anniversary.
Define the article for the synesis forum.
Talking about how to restructure the website.
Talk about how to make i3Poli a student association known by Politecnico di
Milano.

We talked about the 125th Anniversary, the day will likely be:
10:00 Presentation of i3Poli and list of the things we did this year after 2-3 talks (to define, maybe one of them from Loredana Cristaldi, our conselour, maybe one from president of italian computer society Ferdinando Battini and maybe one from Prof. Ferrero, president of italian instrumentation and measurement society or prof Pignari, president of the Italian Electromagnetic Compatibility Society)
break – some chips and coke for all
first i3Poli membership party: we will subscribe all the people that wants to join or renew their subscription to ieee. members can pay directly their subscription by cash, no problems with credit cards.

Stefano Facchinetti is working to organize the worst part: advertisements. Help is really needed. We need to look for ieee 125th anniversary ready papers and advertisements, try to get them all, personalize, if we can, digitally or manually, adding the place in which we will celebrate ieee 125th anniversary.
We know that Prof Stefano Zanero has advertisements and documents that could be helpful for this event too, the group led by Stefano Facchinetti should contact Prof Stefano Zanero too to see what we can use for the anniversary.
Every contribution in this field is VERY appreciated, if you think you can help, please let us all know.

The day after ieee 125th anniversary, there will be the synesis forum, and we will participate, for this purpose there is an article for the forum which is pending in the mailing list for reviews.

We agreed that who enters our site is not able to know what we do, so more information need to be displayed in the website, and we also need more visibility. We bought the i3poli.org web domain which will be set up by me in this week. Then I’ll start adding information pages in the website, the pages will be approved by members and reviews will be accepted.

Then we talked in how to make i3Poli a known association by Politecnico di Milano university. I already talked with Simone Pleticos on 19th of Feb to know what do we have to do to accomplish this, he pointed me some rules to follow and the fact that we have to do a statute for i3Poli. Since there are too much events in the next month, we will not work on it for now, and we decided to continue later, after the synesis forum.

We also talked about the mailing list. In this month i tried to use the mailing lists provided by ieee.org, i created a i3Poli mailing list, but it’s managed in a way closer to the mailing list now (a foreign tutor controls the mailing list). To have a better control of the mailing list and to know how many people are subscribed and if they are digest or not, it seems that the best approach is using the google groups features. Since this topic was not in schedule, we decided to talk and decide if we will switch to google groups in the next meeting, on 3th of April.

In the next meeting we will check that everything is ready for both synesis forum and ieee 125^th anniversary.
